This study was conducted to determine the current status of cutflower farming in
selected town in upland Cavite. The socio-economic characteristic of cutflower grower were determined to have clear understanding of the background of the cutflower respondents. The cost and return in growing the different type of cutflowers were determined in order to get the general picture of cutflower industry's profitabili selected towns of Cavite. Interview and personal visit to individual cutflower growers were conducted to identify their cultural practices, marketing methods applied and problems encountered. Result showed that the cutflower farming is still profitable even for the next several years as demand for flowers remains high. High investment cost is the limiting factor in all the farms visited. However, with the right amount of capitalization and proper management practices, the cutflower industry in Cavite is profitable and sustainable.
