DIMARANAN, MICHELLE B. Sterling Paper Group of Companies, Makati City, Undergraduate Field Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2007.Adviser: Mrs. Myrachael S. Nolasco. <br/>A two and half month study was conducted at Sterling Paper Products Enterprises, Incorporated (SPPEI), located in Kayamanan C, Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati City from November 13, 2006 to January 26, 2007. It aimed to determine the existing management policies and practices, and operational activities being employed by the company; determine the problems faced by the marketing department in its day to day operation; and provide insights and reflections about the field study conducted. Data and information were gathered from the company's files and records, observation and interview with the marketing and central human resource staff Other relevant information like marketing mix and name of stockholders and their shares of stocks were gathered from library of CvSU, and Security and Exchange Commission (SEC). <br/>In order to achieve the company's mission of becoming a leading company in the industry by achieving total quality in production and fostering a strong bond with the customers, suppliers and employees, the company needs the combined effort of all its employees by providing their management practices and policies. Providing insights and reflections will help the upcoming trainees, school and company to improve succeeding conduct of the study. Exposure to some activities especially in the Ad and Promo section of Marketing Department was acquired. The major responsibility performed was handling of the Bingo Go Panalo, as the main promotional activity. This was considered the strength of the training. Some clerical works performed were filing and sorting of different forms and documents, sending fax massages, photocopying and answering of phone calls. <br/> |
