Abstract: DIZON, MARK ALEXIS M. and WY, BOHN ABRAHAM P. Development of Web Based Courseware for Math Il in Kaytitinga National High School, Alfonso, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Mrs. Vanessa G. Coronado. The study was conducted to develop an E-learning system for Kaytitinga National High School’s second year students which may serve as an additional tool to enhance the quality and learning process in the Math Il subject. Specifically, it aimed to identify the problems through interview and survey using fishbone diagrams, design an E-learning system with the use of use case and class diagrams, develop the system with the use of PHP as the scripting language, XAMPP, Adobe Flash, and Photoshop for images, educational, and interactive features and MySQL for database and evaluate the system through integration and unit testing. The system provides functionality that allows teachers to manage all the records and information of the students making them secure and easy to retrieve. The system is capable of handling accounts of the administrator, teacher, and students of the organization. Furthermore, the system also provides reports. The Rational Unified Process was used by the proponents as the development methodology. It consists of five (5) phases: project initiation, technical design, construction, transition, and post project support. The system underwent a series of testing and evaluation to ensure its accuracy and efficiency. Nightly eight (98) students and two (2) teachers evaluated the system to verify its functionalities. The system was evaluated based on the following criteria: accuracy, information in the program, user interaction, and technical aspects. In accordance to the results of the software's evaluation, large number of participants rated the system as "outstanding" which shows that the objectives and requirements of the system were achieved.
