Abstract: GRANADOS, LEONA D. and MULA, MA. MICHAELA B. Online Management Information System of Cavite General Trias Campus. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Ms. Vanessa G. Coronado. The study entitled, “Online Management Information System of Cavite General Trias Campus” was conducted to address the concerns of the institution regarding data keeping and data organizing. Moreover, the system was built to solve the existing problems that the school encountered using traditional system. The system has 5 level of access: MIS officer, faculty, student, cashier, and registrar. Furthermore, the system has the capability to enrolling the student, paying of fees, uploading of grades, posting of announcements, and viewing of grades. The method used during the development of the study was prototyping methodology it has 5 phases: Requirement Gathering and Refinement phase, quick design phase, building prototype phase, evaluation and refinement phase, and implementation and development phase. The process in this method was then repeated producing a new version of the system until it was completed. The software specification used during the development of the study was PHP as a development language; Apache server, Adobe Photoshop, Sublime, designing of database and My Structured Query Language (MySQL) as system database. The system consisted 6 modules: account management module, enrolment management module, grading module, student information module, faculty management module, and report generation module. The developed system was evaluated by the student, faculty and staff of Cavite State University - General Trias Campus. The results satisfied all the criteria of the evaluation and met the identified objectives of the study.
