The study aimed to: determine the views of students and teachers towards patriotism; know how the institution of education promotes patriotism; identify offered subjects that foster patriotism; identify activities that contribute in promoting patriotism among the students especially in Independence Day, Rizal Day and Bonifacio Day; and determine the difficulties of the institution of education in promoting patriotism among the students. The participants of the study were 3 public high school teachers and 7 public junior high school students within the district of CarSiGMA. Descriptive-Narrative design was used in this study to determine the activities and curricula of the institution of Education in promoting patriotism in high school students. Results showed that participants have different insights regarding patriotism but these ideals pinpointed only to love and loyalty of one citizen to his/her own country. They have also believed that it is right and just to promote patriotism through the process of education because it slowly decreases although majority of them proved that the Department of Education is doing its role in promoting patriotism in spite of different difficulties that the institution is facing at the moment.
