Abstract: PINCO, SARRAH JANE M. Careers of Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication Major in Journalism Graduates From 2005 to 2014: A Tracer Study. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication Major in Journalism. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. December 2016. Adviser: Prof. Lisette D. Mendoza. This study was conducted from November 2013 to July 2015 at Cavite State University-Main, Indang. This study traced the employment status of Mass Communication graduates of Cavite State University. The graduates, who are the Journalism majors, belonged to the batch 2005 to 2014. This study aimed to identify the status of the careers of Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication major in Journalism graduates from 2005 to 2014. The specific objectives are to: determine their demographic profile, determine their academic achievements attained, and determine their employment profile. Questionnaires were sent using these modes: in-person distribution, e-mail, Facebook, and telephone interview. E-mail addresses were obtained from typing the names of the graduates on the search engine of Facebook. If the e-mail information was available, the questionnaire was sent to them.A total of eighty-eight (88) graduates responded to the tracer study. The data reveal that a considerable number of the surveyed respondents are practitioners in business processing outsourcing industry, while the rest have conquered and excelled in other fields. The study also concludes that most of them is single, majority of the participants are female, they had no honor received, are non-takers/non-passers of any professional examination and the greatest number of participants works in business processing outsourcing industry
