This study was conducted in Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite from June 2016 to April 2017 to determine the level of exposure of selected residents near Malimango River to environmental conservative strategies initiated by the local government; determine the level of awareness of selected residents near Malimango River on environmental conservation strategies initiated by the local government; determine the level of response of selected residents near Malimango River to environmental conservation strategies initiated by the local government; and determine the relationship between the response of the residents to their level of exposure to and awareness on environmental conservation strategies initiated by the local government. It used descriptive methods of research and purposive and convenience sampling technique to come up with a total of 150 participants. Based on the gathered results, the following findings were summarized: the study showed that the participants had an overall minimal exposure to mediums used to disseminate information regarding environmental conservation strategies. The participants also had an overall minimal awareness on the different environmental conservation strategies the local government was conducting. Furthermore, the participants of the study had an overall high favorability to the environmental conservation strategies the local government was conducting.
