Abstract: ESTORES, DIANA JEAN A. and HERRERA, LERIZA H. Mushroom Production Enterprise. Bachelor of Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Crop Production, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017, Adviser: Analita dM. Magsino, PhD. The project was established, at Department of Crop Science Net house #1, Cavite State University Main Campus, Indang, Cavite. With a capital amounting to Php 8,065.50, the project was implemented from January 2017 to May 2017. It aimed to provide opportunities to apply production and entrepreneurial skills; to determine the cost and return analysis of mushroom production and to identify the problems and solutions in conducting mushroom production. The project involved production of cultured mushroom (class A) in 300 fruiting bags. Preparation of the project site, purchase of mushroom fruiting bags and other materials needed in the production, were performed during pre-production activities. Procurement of materials, preparation of mushroom house, filling the mushroom house, opening the fruiting bags, care and maintenance of the fruiting bags, harvesting, packaging, and promotion and marketing were the main production and processing activities done in growing the mushroom. The mushroom was sold at Php 150.00 per kilo or Php 30 per 200 grams. Harvesting started 21 days after purchase of fruiting bags.
