A total of 200 fourth year high school students from Imus National High School were the participants. A self-made questionnaire was used to collect data. Statistical treatment of data was done through the use of Chi-square test of independence, Pearson Product moment correlation, and logical regression. Results revealed that there was no relationship between motivational factors and socio-demographic profile of the respondents. There was no enough basis to say which motivational factors greatly affect the behavior of the students in joining text clan groups.
