Abstract: GIDA, LOVELY B. An Evaluation on the Livelihood Program of Municipal Social Welfare Development Office (MSWDO) Tanza, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor of Science in Social Work. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Emma Perey This research was conducted to determine and evaluate the perceived effectiveness and impact of the livelihood programs of Municipal Social Welfare Development Office (MSWDO) Tanza, Cavite that brought the beneficiaries a development in socio-economic status and as well-being, and also determined the problem encountered by the beneficiaries regarding the livelihood program. These were being gathered through purposive or criterion sampling method to answer the researcher's self-made questionnaire that acquired both qualitative and quantitative information. Descriptive evaluation was employed to strive for clarification of description to explain and interpret the responses from beneficiaries. A total of 50 beneficiaries who were at least 25 years old and above were the participants of the study. The time allotted for data gathering, interpreting, and accomplishing the manuscript was from January to May 2017 The MSWDO has some partners on the implementation of livelihood program like Department of Agriculture (DA) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Out of eight livelihood that being listed to the questionnaire, there was only two programs that were allowed to be evaluated, and these were Nagkakaisang Mamamayan ng Tanza (NagMaTa): Bigasang Bayan and Dishwashing liquid making.
