Perey, RSW This study is an evaluation on the implementation of National Health Insurance Program otherwise known as PhilHealth to the service users and Social Worker from Indang, Cavite. This study specifically determined and assessed the perceived effectiveness and problems encountered of the indigent service users as they engaged to the program. Furthermore, this study also identified the different medical and health benefits the service users acquired as they engaged with the program and how these benefits help them. In addition, the perception of both the service users and Social Worker towards the program, the study collected ideas from them for further enhancement of the program. In this particular study, the researcher employed descriptive evaluative method, which was used to describe, interpret, and explain the present condition of the service user. To gather the necessary information, the researcher used self-made questionnaire to determine and assess the perceived effectiveness and problems encountered by the service users as they avail the program. In addition, to be able to collect the data from the qualitative phase the researcher utilized Focus Group Discussion(FGD). During the FGD, the researcher used guide questions and recording kit to collect all the necessary data.
