This study generally aimed to narrate the story of gay homosexuals' long-term relationship with a live-in partner. Specifically, this study aimed to: (l) learn about the possible reasons that led them in engaging with homosexual relationship; (2) determine the problems/ crisis that they were facing while they living together; (3) find out the coping mechanisms that developed towards their problem; and (4) list their aspirations and realizations throughout their long-term relationship. The study involved nine gay participants who have been living with their partners for more than a year. Purposive and snowball sampling were used to determine the sample participants.
Qualitative research, which is narrative analysis for a broader understanding and in-depth research, was used in the study. The researchers presented the results in two-way format, case by case and generalized. All the results were thematically analyzed. The themes related to research questions were summarized accordingly.
