Abstract: ESCOLAR, JOHN PAULO A. and SERVAN, REYMAR C. Now You Know? A Mobile Application on the Philippine Geography about the Different Regions in the Philippines. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018.Adviser: Prof. Gladys G. Perey. The study was conducted at the Trece Martires City Elementary School, from August 2016 to April 2018. It was conducted primarily to develop a mobile application that serves an additional learning tool for students of Philippine geography that gives them a more interesting and interactive way of learning while enjoying the subject. Specifically, it aimed to: 1. familiarized the students with the information about the different regions in the Philippines; 2. create a module that help students to be aware what are the cities and provinces that located in each regions; 3. create a game module that also has questions that correspond to one puzzle pieces, assemble the puzzle pieces to form a specific location; and 4. create a module that showcase all the important events, things and land marks that could be seen in each regions, to solved or at least minimized the problems encountered by the elementary students and their teachers related to Philippine geography. It also helped in establishing established good connection between teacher and student as this software introduced new technology in teaching and learning the subject in more interactive way. The researchers used the incremental model as the methodology of developing the study using Sketch 3 and Adobe Illustrator for the design and image enhancement, and Unity for building the app. The mobile application was evaluated by 80 respondents, 70 of them were non-technical respondents, while ten were the IT experts that serves as the technical respondents. The Now You Know?: A Mobile Application on the Philippine Geography bout the Different Regions in the Philippines passed the variety of tests including unit test, integration test, and system evaluation. The system got overall mean of 4.14 and was evaluated as excellent in all identified criteria.
