A study was conducted to determine the level implementation and level of acceptance of selected provisions of Clean Air Act of 1999 as perceived by the municipality of Indang, Naic, and Tagaytay. Specifically, the purpose of the study sought to determine the level of implementation and level of acceptance in terms of ban on incineration, pollution from smoking and regulation of all motor vehicles and engines; and determine the significant relationship between level of implementation and level of acceptance in the implementation of selected provisions of clean air act. Descriptive method was used to attain this study and self-made questionnaires were disseminated in data gathering. The participants were selected using multi-stage sampling to obtain the samples which was subdivided the participants to represent the municipalities of Indang, Naic and Tagaytay. There were three hundred fifteen (315) participants in this study. One hundred five (105) per municipalities that includes ten (10) municipal officials, forty (35) were drivers and sixty five (60) were respondent from the community. The total level of implementation as perceived by the participants on ban on incineration, pollution from smoking and regulation of all motor vehicles and engines were strongly implemented. The local government of Indang, Naic and Tagaytay monitored the implementation of ban on incineration, pollution from smoking and regulation of all motor vehicles and engines; and any violation occurs reprimand was given immediately. The total level of acceptance in the fines and punishment as perceived by the participants on ban on incineration, pollution from smoking and regulation of all motor vehicles and engines were strongly accepted the fines and punishment stated in the R.A. 8749 for the violation of selected provisions of clean air act. The perception of the participants towards the implementation of selected provisions of clean air as to the level of implementation and level of acceptance has a significant relationship. If the implementation of selected provisions of clean air act is strongly implemented therefore the participants are undecided to violate the selected provisions of clean air act because of the fines and punishment stated under Republic Act 8749 also known as Clean Air Act of 1999. Out of three hundred fifteen (315) or 100% there only two hundred seventy five (275) or 87.30% participants made their statement in the problems encountered in the implementation of selected provisions of clean air act. Out of three hundred fifteen (315) participants only one hundred sixty eight (168) or 53.33% of the participants made a suggestion to improve the implementation of selected provisions of clean air act.
