Abstract: ENAGE, SAMANTHA FAYE ANNE T. and FEXOL, RUE ERIKA JANE C., Participation of Community Residents M Extension Activities of Educational Institutions. Undergraduate Thesis_ Bachelor of Science in Development Management major in Training Program Management. Cavite State University, Wang, Cavite June 2018, Adviser: Prof Alberto M. Aguilar. The study was conducted to: 1) describe the socio-demographic Profile of the participants; 2) determine the level of awareness of the residents on extension activities; 3) determine the level of knowledge of residents on extension activities; 4) determine the attitude of residents towards extension activities; 5) determine the level of participation of the residents on extension activities; 6) determine the relationship between the level of awareness of the residents and their level of participation towards extension activities; ) determine the relationship between level of knowledge of the residents and their level of participation towards extension. activities and; 8) determine the relationship between attitude of the residents and their level of participation towards extension activities of educational institutions. Descriptive statistical tool such as frequency, mean, percentage standard deviation were used to answer the objectives. Pearson Correlation Coefficient was used in determining the relationship between: level of awareness of the resident i and their level of participation towards extension activities; level of knowledge of-the residents and their level of participation towards extension activities and; attitude of the residents and their level of participation towards extension activities of educational institutions Based on the result, majority of the participants were female (71%), married (68%' and age ranged from 29 to 38 years old (31%). The participants mostly attained High School level of education (54%) and unemployed (49%). it was also revealed that majority (86%) of the source of income of the participants was from income from salary with an average monthly family income of P 11,576. Furthermore, the community residents were aware (Mean: 182. SD: 0.69), knowledgeable (Mean: 181 SD: .6. and have favorable attitude (Mean: 3.42.SD: 1.00) on • extension activities of educational institutions. However the level of participation of community residents in extension activities of educational institutions were low in terms of (Mean: 1.89, SD: 0,69)„ in terms of implementation (Mean: 2.09. SD: 0A9) in terms of .Monitoring and Evaluation 'Mean: 2.00 SD: 0.63) and in terms of Utilization of technology knowledge, skills, learned or acquired from extension activities (Mean: 174, SD: (172). Moreover, there, were significant relationship between community resident's level of awareness on extension activities and their level of participation on extension activities of educational institutions (Coefficient: 0387_ P-value: 0.000); between level of knowledge on extension activities of community residents and their level of participation on extension activities of educational institutions (Coefficient: 0387. 0.000): and between community resident's attitude on extension activities and their level of participation on extension activities of educational institutions (Coefficient: 0A64. P-value: 0.000).
