Abstract: ABIGAIL KYLE P. CANCEL and JOHN HENDREX G. NUESTRO, Development of an E-learning System on Hardware Servicing for Senior High Students in Cavite Community Academy, laic, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Sciences in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Lydia D. Perido, The study was conducted to develop e-learning system on Hardware Servicing for Senior High Students of Cavite Community Academy in Naic, Cavite which aimed to provide an efficient delivery of quality education specifically for those students who take the subjects. The development of e-learning system subject aimed to provide benefits to the school which is the Cavite Community Academy to achieve the school's vision and mission_ The Iterative and Incremental Development Model was used by the proponents as the methodology. It consists of four (4) phases: requirements, design, Implementation and review. The software developed has the following features: user management module, lecture module, assessment module, announcement module and evaluation module. User management module allows the administrator and teachers to enter the system by entering their, corresponding username and password, while the students need to log-in with their LRN (Learner's Reference Number) and the password_ Lecture Module contains the entire lesson that will be uploaded by their teachers. Assessment Module contains the quizzes that are uploaded by the teacher and has games that may help the students to learn more about the hardware servicing. Announcement Module serves as a bulletin board because it shows the announcements made by the teachers and the students can view the announcement of their teacher. The Evaluation Module has all the list of the students and their recorded grades from the quizzes in the e-learning. The system has three levels of access: administrator, teachers and students_ Each user has his/her own page and individual username and password. In creating the system, the main Programming Language used was PHP Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) along with it was Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript and MySQL for the database. Software that was used was Adobe Photoshop CS6, Apache Web Server and Macromedia Dreamweaver and Microsoft Word 2010. Iii the evaluation of the system, the Teachers, Students and IT Experts were the respondents to evaluate the system. The Non-Technical Evaluation is for the teacher and students, the non-technical evaluation consist of the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability and user-friendliness. The overall assessment of the software for the non-technical got the mean of 4.45 (SD 0.5728) and while the Technical Evaluation is for the IT Experts it consists of the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability and user-friendliness. The overall assessment of the software for the technical got the mean of 4.53 (SD 0.5440). According to the results of the evaluation, majority of the participants accepted the system, and it was judged as the criteria are excellent that fully meets and far exceeds the most expectations of the respondents in the system.
