Factors Associated with The Performance of High School Students of the Don Severino Agricultural College In The National College Entrance Examination. The study was carried on to: (1) determine some demographic characteristics of the high school students of the Don Severino Agricultural College; (2) determine their performance in the NCEE, and (3) identify the relationships between some related factors and their perform in the NCEE. ? Respondents consisted of NCEE Examinees of the Don Severino Agricultural College of the school year 1984 1985 and 1985 - 1986. Through interview and by means of secondary source, data were gathered. Frequency counts, percentage, means, range, ranks, and chi-square test were used to analyze and interpret data. Findings showed that majority of the examinees was female, aged 16, reside in barrios, had a mean scholastic of 79.59, and graduated from a public elementary school. Examinees' parents had an average level of education in the secondary level; and have an average income of P 18, 159.20.
In the GSA, the mean average was 72.82 but on the range 79 - 101 lies the greatest number of frequency. In the different sub-areas of the NCEE, it showed that the lowest and highest performance was in the Mathematical Ability and Reading Comprehension, respectively.
