Abstract: The study "Relationship Between the Scholastic Ability In Grade "ix and Performance in Agricultural Science Entrance examination", was conducted in the Don Severino Agricultural College, Indand, Cavite from July 1986 to April,1987. This was conducted to determine the relationship of academic performance in entrance examination and socio~economic factors. This study shows significant results in terms of educational attainment and occupational status of the parents. Insignificant result was showed in academic performance to income of the family per year. Highly significant result was showed in scholastic ability end entrance examination.
