This study, "Germination and Seedling Growth of Batao (Dolichos lablab) as Affected by Different Levels of KNO3," was conducted from September 21,1989 to November 29,1989 at the Don Severino Agricultural College to find out the effect of KNO; on the germination and seedling growth of batao. -
Seven hundred and fifty batao seeds were distributed in a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) having five treatments with three replications. The distribution of treatments were; Tpy- control, T,- 1%, T5- 2%, T5- 3%, and T4- 4% of KNOz solution.
Highly significant results were obtained in seeds treated with 3% and 4% KNOz solution in all parameters e.g., percentage germination, germination (days after seeding), fresh weight, and average length of radicle and plumule.
