This study aimed to explore the perception on GMA news website as credible news source to selected BA Journalism students and faculty members at Cavite State University Indang Cavite and to determine the credibility of GMA news website as a news source in terms of believability, fairness, accuracy and comprehensiveness as perceived by selected BA Journalism students and faculty members through descriptive survey method. The research was conducted from August 2017 to April 2018. The study used descriptive research survey method to determine the credibility of GMA news website as a news source as perceived by BA Journalism student and faculty Members. In order to gather the needed information in this study; purposive sampling was used as a form of tool to determine the credibility of GMA News website as a news source. A total of 208 selected BA Journalism students and 10 faculty members use GMA news website as a news source. The study revealed that the perception of BA Journalism students and faculty members strongly agree on GMA news website as a news source. Furthermore, selected BA Journalism students and faculty members perceived GMA news website as a credible news source in terms of believability, fairness, accuracy and comprehensiveness.
