Abstract: GLUMAL, JASPER JEWELL B., HERNANDEZ, JR. GILBERT L. The BS Social Work Graduates of the Cavite State University — Don Severino de Las Alas Campus (2015 To 2018): A Tracer Study. Undergraduate thesis Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Prof Renato T. Agdalpen, MA. The purpose of the study entitled "The BS Social Work Graduates of the Cavite State University Don Severino de Las Alas Campus (2015 To 2018): A Tracer Study" was to identify the socio-demographic profile of the graduates, identify the educational background (Baccalaureate Degree Only) of the graduates, the training(s)/advanced studies attended after college and to determine the employment data of the graduates and suggestions of the graduates to further improve the curriculum. The study employed quantitative method and purposive convenient sampling technique among the one-hundred nineteen (119) graduates. The gathered data were analyzed through e-questionnaires which were validated by the Registered Social Workers. Data showed that majority of the participants were female. In terms of civil status, it showed that majority of them are single. The location of the graduates showed that majority of them reside at Region 4 particularly in Cavite. Moreover, 49 passed the Licensure Examination for Social Work out of the 58 graduates who took the said examination. On the other hand, twenty-one (21) have not yet taken the board exam due to personal reasons which was not disclosed in the study. In terms of advanced studies/trainings attended after college, few of them revealed that they attended advanced studies/trainings after college. In terms of employment data, fifty-nine (59) of the graduates were employed during the conduct of the study. In terms of suggestions of the graduates, majority suggested an exposure in different settings of Social Work for them to further emphasize the Social Work values to students in order to work positively with others. Communication and writing skills should be well enhanced in the classroom.
