Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, April 2002, Adviser: Eng'r. Renato B. Cubilla. The Rehabilitation and Improvement of the CvSU Recreational Park was conducted at the authors' residence from June 2001 to February 2002 and was evaluated on the second week of March 2002 at the College of Engineering, Cavite State University. The primary objective of the study is to develop a plan on improving and rehabilitating the CvSU recreational park. Specifically, it aimed to design roofing plan for adult's pool, provide details on fencing, develop a plan for road completion, design a plan for the pavilion, design a retaining wall, determine the total cost estimate, enhance knowledge in developmental planning and to develop a scaled model of the project as representation. The structural analysis of frames and truss was made through the aid of the Structural Aided Analysis and Design (STAAD). The complexity of mathematical expressions involving matrix operation and dynamic equation was simplified by using STAAD-III linear analysis method. Parameters like shears, reactions and moments were obtained. The design was made manually including the different drawings, plans, and specifications. Safety, economy, and aesthetic factors were considered in the design.
