Abstract: The Variability in Theses/Special Problems of Students Majoring in Agronomy from 1973—1980 of the Don Severino Agricultural College was conducted from October 1980 to December 1980. This study was undertaken to determine the range of the variability of theses and special problems conducted by Agronomy students from 1973— 1980 using coefficient of variation. It also aimed to determine variations among theses and special problems conducted by Agronomy students in terms of specific crops and in terms of types of experiment used. In this study, the Randomized Complete Block De— sign (RCBD) had the lower CV values as compared with the rest of the design. Studies centered on root crops were reliable as far as their coefficient of variation is concerned. Chemical trial experiments too had lower CV Values owing to the ease of conduct of experiment. Some studies were not reliable in their simplest form, resulting a CV value higher than 100%, even reaching ag high as 200%.
