Abstract: Anonuevo, A.P. 1991 Response of Aster(Callistephus chinensis (L) (Ness) ) to Different Types and Levels of Fertilizer Adviser: Prof. Josefino A. Viado A total of 180 Aster plants were used in this study. The plants were placed under different treatment combinations of types and levels of fertilizer under the Randomized Block Design (RCBD). Result shows that there is a significant difference between the treatment based on the number of days from planting to flowering; total number of branches that gave flowers; total number of suckers produced per pot and total weight of the plant as well as the percentage survival of the plant. On the other hand, non-significant results were obtained based on the average length of branches that produce flowers, height of plant in cm. and average number of flowers produced per branch. Based on the result of the study, the use of complete fertilizer is recommended for Aster plants. The use of complete fertilizer at 5 gm. level is highly recommended. The cost of production for fertilizer could be lessened.
