Adviser: Mr. Roderick M. Rupido. A three-month training was conducted at the Baby Vogue, Inc., a garment industry specializing in children’s apparel and woven dresses from November 6, 2001 and ended on February 15, 2002. They are involved primarily in export of children’s dresses. The company has special operations like smocking, machine and computer embroidery, appliqués and beadwork. The company has major active customers or buyers abroad like Laura Ashley in London, USA, Canada, Middle East and Japan, Sarah Louise in London and USA, Vacadi in Paris, Mafrats and Matop in Italy, Baileyu Babies in USA and Mom’s Care in Malaysia. Baby Vogue, Inc. has local buyers like Orange Juice, Big & Small and Spin. The company is known in the export industry because of the quality of the products and the good services of the company. Generally, the objective of the field study was to apply knowledge, skills and tools in business management to real business situations. The study aimed to gather information about the organization, management, marketing and financial aspect, Familiarize with the working environment in garment manufacturing and get acquainted with the accepted norms and conduct office works and to identify the existing problems of the firm and recommend solutions to them. This kind of training can improve the student’s abilities, skills, and knowledge toward work, fence, increasing one’s competency for employment. The concept of training was basically coping up with that simple situation in the firm like giving idea or opinion with regards to recruitment and promotion process of the employee and other simple problems encountered by the firms. Through training skills in preparing business letter and the use of computer, fax and photocopying documents. To solve the problem such as great volume of orders for the buyers, because of the orders coming from the buyers. The company cannot meet the supply of manpower. To solve this problem it is highly recommended that to have more manpower to support the great volume of orders from the buyers.
