Abstract: AUSTRIA, MARIZEN D. "THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT ORGANIC FERTILIZERS ON THE GROWTH AND YIELD OF ASPARAGUS Research Study Don of the Severino officionalis)" (Asparagus Agricultural Science Curriculum, Agricultural College, Indang Cavite. Adviser: Professor Josefino A. Viado The study entitled "The Effect Organic Fertilizers on the Growth and Yield of Asparagus (Asparagus officionalis) was conducted to determine the effect of different organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of asparagus, the percentage Survival of the plants. It further aimed to determine which treatment will produce the highest percentage growth and yield of asparagus. A total of 108 asparagus seedlings were used in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications composing of six treatments as follows: T1 control, T2 commercial organic fertilizer; manure; T3 cow manure; T4 horse manure T5 chicken dung; and T6 compost The study revealed that different organic applied to crop, greatly affect production of spears. Treatments with the application of commercial organic fertilizer gave followed by plants fertilized with chicken dung. It was found out that asparagus when fertilized with commercial Organic fertilizer produce longer, heavier Appearance is earlier and more spears were produced
