Abstract: Guevarra, Betty Feranil, Applied Research IV (Agricultural Science Curriculum); Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, "The Effect of Different Liquid Fertilizers Applied Through Drip Irrigation on the Growth Performance of Anthurium", Adviser: Mrs. Edna A. Vida The study entitled "The Effect of Different Liquid Fertilizers Applied Through Drip Irrigation on the Growth Performance of Anthurium" was conducted to determine the effect of applying different liquid fertilizers through drip irrigation on the growth performance of anthurium and to determine the best fertilizer applied through drip irrigation on the growth performance of anthurium. A total of one hundred forty-four (144) anthurium Plants of Kaumana Variety purchased from Calamba, Laguna were arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) composed of three replications and six treatments. Treatments include: T, - €ontrol, T, - Albatros foliar fertilizer, tT - Liquefied 14-14-14 fertilizer, qT, - A-Growell Liquefied Fertilizer, Ts - Chicken tea manure and Ts, Horse tea manure. Highly significant results were obtained in the average plant height, average number of leaves, average leaf length, average leaf width, average number of flowers produced and in the average number of suckers produced. Significant results was obtained in the average stem diameter. It was proven in the study that fertilizers such as Albatros foliar fertilizer, A-Growell liquefied Fertilizer and chicken tea manure when applied through drip irrigation system gave good results in the growth increment of anthurium plants. Drip irrigation as recommended by the author proved to be a very good system in the application of fertilizers. In other words, fertilizer application through drip irrigation gave a very nice effect on the growth increment of anthurium plants. The author further recommends chicken tea manure as a g00d substitute for commercial fertilizers because it is less expensive as compared to other commercial fertilizers.
