Abstract: EUSTAQUIO, RIAZEL C. Adequacy and Efficiency of Student Services in Cavite State University Office of Student Affairs Main Campus, SY 2011-2012. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Cavite State University. April 2012. Thesis Adviser: Ms. Joy G. Novero. The study, Adequacy and Efficiency of Student Services in Cavite State University Office of Student Affairs Main Campus, SY 2011-2012 was conducted at the Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. The study aimed to: (l) determine the perception of the respondents in terms of the adequacy of the following services: Admission and Records, Housing Services, Food Services, Financial Assistance, Health Services, Student Discipline and Campus Security, Student Activities, Athletics and Guidance Services; (2) determine the perception of the respondents in terms of the efficiency of the said services; (3) and identify the student service enhancement program that can be recommended for the adequacy and efficiency of student services in the Cavite State University Office of Student Affairs main campus. Descriptive method design was used to determine the description of data and characteristics about a population. Meanwhile, stratified sampling was utilized in selecting samples/respondents of the study. Having a total population of 7728 college students, Slovin's Formula was used to identify the number of samples which was 380 as respondents from the nine different colleges of the university. The researcher used the rating scale on the Adequacy and Efficiency of Student Services and Facilities, a standard survey form of the Office of Student Affairs. Based on the results, generally, the perception of the respondents in terms of Adequacy and Efficiency for Admission and Records, Financial Assistance, Health Services, Student Discipline and Campus Security, Student Activities, Athletics and Guidance Services of the University are adequate and efficient to the respondents. One of the student services, Food Services, of the University was identified as moderately adequate and efficient to the respondents. It was concluded that most of the student services in the University are adequate and efficient to the respondents. Finally, based upon the result of the study, it reveals that the student services are subjected to the Student Service Enhancement Program.
