The study determines the demographic profile and its relation to the perceived parenting styles and social behaviors of selected high school students of Congressional National High School, Dasmarinas Cavite. Specifically, this study sought to (1) determine the demographic profile of the parents of the respondents; (2) determine the perceived parenting styles of the parents of the respondents; (3) determine the social behaviors of the student respondents towards interpersonal relationship such as: peers, teachers, interaction with school authority and intrapersonal relationship such as: self-discipline and affiliation and achievement; (4) determine the significant relationship between demographic profile of parents respondents to their parenting style; (5) determine the significant relationship between perceived parenting style to social behavior of the student respondents. The study used descriptive correlation method to find out if there is a significant relationship between demographic profile, parenting styles and social behavior of the respondents. Descriptive statistics such as frequency and percentages were used in determining the demographic profile of the parent's respondents, perceived parenting styles and social behavior of the students, and Spearman rank test was used in determining the relationship between demographic profiles and parenting styles.
