Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2009. Adviser: Ms. Alma Fatima Reyes. This study was conducted to determine the relationship of demographic profile, social acceptance and frustration level of homosexuals in selected areas of Indang, Cavite. Furthermore, it aimed to: 1) determine the demographic profile of the homosexuals in Indang, Cavite in terms of age, gender, civil status, religion, educational attainment and occupational status; 2) determine the level of social acceptance in terms of family, community and friends relation; 3) identify the level of frustration of selected homosexuals in Indang, Cavite; 4) determine the difference between the social acceptance and frustration level of gays and lesbians; 5) identify if demographic profile has a relationship to the social acceptance and frustration level of homosexuals in Indang, Cavite; and 6) ascertain the relationship between the social acceptance and frustration level of homosexuals in Indang, Cavite. This study was conducted from December 2008 to January 2009, which focused mainly on the social acceptance and frustration level of homosexuals in selected areas of Indang, Cavite. A total of 100 homosexuals, 50 gays and 50 lesbians in selected areas of Indang, Cavite, were considered in this study. The researcher used descriptive correlational in analyzing the data that were gathered. The research instrument was lifted and modified from the Scale about assessing your own personality developed by Ochs and Plug (1986) in social acceptance scale while the frustration level scale was lifted and modified from David Watson and Ronald Frierel's Fear of Negative Evaluation (1987) which were used in collecting the data needed in the study. Results revealed that there is no significant relationship between demographic profile, social acceptance and frustration level of homosexuals in selected areas of Indang, Cavite.
