ADAN, CZANDRIE ABRAHAM P. and VISLENIO, RON JOMER P. Development of Management Information System for the College of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation. Undergraduate Thesis; Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University. April 2012. Thesis Adviser: Dr. Shaneth A. Estrada.
The study was conducted to develop a Management Information System for the College of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation which enables the consortium to consolidate all the data and information, developing an inventory system to manage and monitor all the sports materials that the college possesses. It also provided athlete records, for the sports that coaches handle, and a venue reservation for the events held within the college premises. In developing the study, the proponents used the iterative development process methodology which includes planning, analysis, requirements, analysis and design, implementation, deployment, testing and evaluation.
The developed software was assessed through criteria such as user — interaction, reliability, consistency, efficiency, accuracy, information in the program and technical aspects of the software materials and all passed the evaluation.
