Abstract: CIOCO, APRIL R. and FRAGO JUSHUA M., Development of Management Information System for Technical Service Group of PSI — Deutz Division. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. March 2013. Adviser: Ma'am Vanessa G. Coronado The study was conducted to develop a Management Information System (MIS) for Technical Service Group of PSI — Deutz Division which will help provide solutions in the management of the different transactions and processes. The MIS for Technical Service Group is composed of six modules: the Administrator Module, the Workforce Management Module, the Service Job Order (SJO) Management Module, the Parts and Equipment Administration Module, the Costing Information Module and lastly, the Documents and Report Module for printing main forms such as service request, JO Sheet and Job Closing form. Evolutionary Prototyping Method is used for the development of the system and consists of the following phases: Initiation, Quick analysis, Quick Design, Development, Test and Prototype. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate was used as the main programming language in the development of the system, Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for designing the interface and Apache MySQL server as the database technology for data storage. The system was evaluated by students from different courses in Cavite State University, employees and managers from the Technical Service Group of PSI based on the following criteria: Functionability, Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Maintainability and Portability. The system passed all the given criteria in evaluation and met all the features, functionality and the requirements to attain its objectives
