Abstract: COSTALES, JESSA MARIE B. and GLORIANI, MARK RENZ B. Student Information System for Gen. E. Aguinaldo National High School Bailen, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Mr. Marlon R. Pereña. The study, Student Information System for Gen. E. Aguinaldo National High School Bailen, Cavite was conducted to provide secured and organized records of the students, faculty staff, and grades to have a fast and accurate generating of reports. It is an advantage to the teachers, since the records are store on the S.I.S. system that can speed-up advising system. The main feature of the Student Information System is to provide efficient information in each transaction, a system should be user-friendly and enables the fast processing of data accuracy of result generated and to acquire and develop a system for the needs of their company. The system provides five modules, account management module, registration module, student information module, grades module and reports module. The researcher used the Software Development Methodology paradigm in the development of the system. Software Development Methodology consists of the following phases: analyzing/planning, breakdown priority project, Design module, code test, debug, integration of sub procedures, integration with existing system, test/implementation. The proposed system was developed under MS Visual Studio 2008 with the use of prototyping method. The System was evaluated by the respondents on the given criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. Evaluators were composed of the teachers and the guidance counselor of the school. The system passed all the criteria in the evaluators and met all the requirements and the objectives.
