Descriptive method was used to describe the cooperative's sources and uses of funds. The information and data regarding the sources and uses of funds were gathered through personal interviews with the Manager, Board of Directors, and employees of the Cooperative. Secondary data were obtained from the records and files of the cooperative. The sources of funds came from the share capital of the members, sales from coffee and other consigned products, and donations and grants. The funds, on the other hand, are being used for operating expenses, for the annual dividends and patronage refund, and the required statutory funds. The problems encountered by the Cooperative include: it has no cash register at the shop; it serves only one kind of coffee, and it fails to implement the policies on discounting
