The study aimed to determine the emotional management and personal adjustment and personal adjustment of Overseas Filipino Workers' spouses in selected cities of Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to determine the: 1) profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender and educational attainment; 2) emotional management level of the respondents based on impulse control, emotional awareness and mood management; 3) personal adjustment of the respondents in terms of self-reliance, sense of personal worth, sense of personal freedom, feeling of belongingness, withdrawal tendencies, and nervous symptoms; 4) significant difference on the emotional management of the respondents when grouped according to profile; 5) significant difference on the personal adjustment of the respondents when grouped according to profile; and 6) significant relationship between emotional management and personal adjustment on the respondents. The descriptive correlation method of research was utilized in the study. It was conducted and administered among the spouses of Overseas Filipino Workers in selected cities who are fitted in the inclusion criteria. Emotional Management Test was used to measure the emotional management level of the respondents and California Test of Personality was used to measure the Personal Adjustment of the respondents. Frequency counts, means, Weighted Mean, Analysis of Variance, T-test and Pearson r were used as statistical treatment in the study. The results revealed the Overseas Filipino Workers' spouses have high level of emotional management based on its three components: impulse control; emotional awareness; and mood management. The spouses are in control of their own state of mind. They are highly aware of their emotions, and they know how to value their emotion and how to use it in goal attainment. They could build one's self-awareness and confidence. The study reveals that the Overseas Filipino Workers' spouses have high level of personal adjustment in terms of its six dimensions: self-reliance; sense of personal worth; sense of personal freedom; feeling of belongingness; withdrawal tendencies; and nervous symptoms. The respondents perform their duties under different circumstances. They were well-adjusted and practiced the components of personal adjustment. Moreover, there is no significant difference on the emotional management of the respondents when grouped according to profile. The age, gender and educational attainment were not related to the emotional management of the respondents. Furthermore, there is no significant difference on the personal adjustment of the respondents when grouped according to profile. The age, gender and educational attainment were not related to the personal adjustment of the respondents. In general, the result revealed that there is a significant relationship between emotional management and personal adjustment of the respondents.
