Abstract: CAIMOY, MARY GRACE B. Inventory Management System of Ladera Culinary Services, Inc. Case Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Operations Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Prof Estrellita D. Corpuz. The study was conducted at Ladera Culinary Services, Inc. in Splendido Taal Golf and Country Club, Laurel, Batangas from August 2014 to September 2014 to describe the inventory control system of the firm; evaluate the effectiveness of the inventory control system of the firm; identify the problems of the firm in its inventory and stocks and recommend feasible solutions to these problems. The data were gathered from the records of the firm,including its handbook, personal interviews, and observations of the researcher in her one-month stay in the company. Descriptive method was used in analyzing the information gathered to describe the inventory control system with the aid of a process flow chart, which starts with supplier selection and ending with the reordering of supplies and an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the existing inventory control system. The researcher also point out some practices to determine the effectiveness of the firm's inventory management system. The company also has some forms to monitor the flow of their inventory properly. After a thorough analysis of the study its shows that the flows of the inventory control system of Ladera Culinary Services Inc. had certain constraints, like lack of manpower and stock outs. The researcher gives some feasible solutions for the problems that she encountered with her stay in the firm. Results of the study shows that Ladera Culinary Services Inc. have encountered some constraints in managing the company's daily operations especially regarding their inventory, but the company can manage it efficiently.
