Online resources: Abstract: The present economic situation of the country affects largely to the development of human resources. The devaluation of the peso had made adverse effects to education, more particularly to the technical-vocational schools which were considered the exponent institutions in the field of technical knowledge and skills training. Acquisition of training facilities and equipment necessary in the skills upgrading has become a difficult problem due to government restrictions, Hence, this study was conceived to partially solve the equipment shortage of the Cebu State College of Science and Technology. Furthermore, it helps the instructor, teaching lighting and warning systems, to facilitate . the teaching-learning process more effectively. Specifically, the study attempted to: 1) design a modified electrical training equipment that possesses the following features: portable, table-type, and multi-functional. 2) construct the trainer using supplies and materials available in the community. 3) demonstrate the functions, operations, and intricacies of the lighting and warning circuits. The trainer was manufactured in ten days at the cost of 24,667.50. Surveys conducted in several places revealed no training model of this kind or its equivalent found in the market. Hence, viability of mass production of the unit as an income generating scheme of the school through KKK and Sariling Sikap Program is feasible. The project modified three basic functions featured separately by different automotive electrical wiring trainers and/or mock-ups. The three basic functions of this training model are the followings 1. Serve as a wiring circuit board. 2. Can be used to demonstrate the following: a) Headlight Circuit b) Tail/Plate Light Circuit c) Park Light Circuit d) Panel Light Circuit e) Horn Circuit f) Back-up Horn/Light Circuit g) Signal/Hazard Light/Horn Circuit h) Stop Light/Horn Circuit 3. Can be used to simulate the following: a) Lighting System Circuits b) Warning System Circuits

Thesis (Master of Technician Education--Automotive Technology) Marikina Institute of Science and Technology

Includes bibliographical references.

The present economic situation of the country affects largely to the development of human resources.

Specifically, the study attempted to:

1) design a modified electrical training equipment that possesses the following features: portable, table-type, and multi-functional.

The three basic functions of this training model are the followings

1. Serve as a wiring circuit board.

2. Can be used to demonstrate the following:

a) Headlight Circuit
b) Tail/Plate Light Circuit
c) Park Light Circuit
d) Panel Light Circuit
e) Horn Circuit
f) Back-up Horn/Light Circuit
g) Signal/Hazard Light/Horn Circuit
h) Stop Light/Horn Circuit

3. Can be used to simulate the following:
a) Lighting System Circuits
b) Warning System Circuits
