Ilagan This study was conducted from November to March 2016 to determine the job- related stress and coping up strategies of Bachelor of Science in Business Management graduates of Cavite State University. It aimed to determine the socio-demographic profile, the common stressors encountered, the level of job-related stress, the coping up strategies, the significant relationship between socio-demographic profile and job-related stress, and the significant relationship between job-related stress and coping up strategies of Bachelor of Science in Business Management graduates. Using an adopted questionnaire, data were gathered from 225 participants. Frequency count, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Correlation and Chi-square were used to analyze the data. Results showed that majority of the graduates were at most 26 years of age, female, Roman Catholic and single. Marketing management major students represent the highest number of graduates. A greater percentage of them occupy rank-in-file position and had less than a year of work experience. The net monthly income of graduates ranges from P10, 00! to P20, 000. Among the job stressors, the job related health concerns was found to be the least cause of stress. In general, all the job stressors covered in this study reflected a low effect to the stress level of the graduates. The Bachelor of Science in Business Management graduates ‘of Cavite State University could experience high level of stress when they have to work very intensively and unable to take sufficient breaks. However, they experience a very low level of stress despite being subjected to personal harassment and some unkind words and inappropriate behavior. The coping up strategy that Bachelor of Science in Business Management graduates highly utilized was social support. Social withdrawal was the least utilized coping up strategy. Only the major field of specialization and net monthly income of the participants had significant relationship with their level of job-related stress while no significant relationship was found between job-related stress and coping up strategies.
