This study was conducted to comprehend and evaluate the roles and experiences of Social Workers in selected institutions in Cavite. Specifically aimed to: enumerate the different roles of Social Workers in different institutions; identify the experiences they encounter in working with their clients; comprehend the positive and negative challenges that affect the social worker in working with different client. This study used the narrative comparative analysis design. This study used interview guide questions when gathering the data. Ten Registered social workers were the participants of this study. The study revealed that social workers have common roles that are being carried out and being a case manager is their major role in working with their client. Moreover, social workers also act as an advocate, broker, mediator, counselor, and other different roles of a social worker. A social worker also experience different challenges in helping and working with their clients. The common challenges a social worker encounters are: conflict with the parents, problems with the children, political issues, and conflict with the workmates. However, it is a satisfying and enriching profession because it is an opportunity for them to participate for the betterment of the people they serve and the society. Furthermore, the experienced challenges had different effect on the social worker in dealing with their clients. Being tough and good in decision making in dealing with their vulnerable clients is one of the positive effects on them. They were able to strengthen and improve themselves. These experiences helped them to be more responsive to the situation and to their client's cases.
