The study was conducted from June 2015 to March 2016 at Cavite State University Main Campus to develop a management information system of the Faculty Association in Cavite State University. Specifically, it aimed to: 1. identify the problems of the existing system through interviews, survey and research; 2. analyze and interpret problems using fishbone diagram; 3. design the system models that specify the processes involved in the proposed system; 4. develop a system using PHP and MySQL; and 5. evaluate the system performance through series of testing.

The researchers used feature driven development methodology as_ their methodology. It consists of process workflows namely: develop an overall model phase, build a features list phase, plan by feature phase and design by feature phase, and lastly build by feature phase.

The system is comprised of five modules: account management module, faculty record module, report module, communication module, and fund allocation module. It was evaluated using the questionnaire anchored on the ISO 9126. The respondents were composed of instructors and students who were determined using simple random sampling technique.

Based on the result of the evaluation, the system was rated as excellent in terms of its reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, functionality and portability. In order to further improve the study, the proponents recommend the following: include all the
monetary activities to monitor all the members, the system must be connected to CvSU website so that the users specially the officers can easily access the system and the generation of financial statement.
