The system entitled "Livestock Production Informatics for Android Mobile of the
College of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Natural Resources, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite" was developed to help the said organization to provide information about livestock and to help student to be more knowledgeable in terms of taking care of animals. The researchers identified the problem of existing process of infomation sharing through the conducted researchers and interviews. The problems were analyzed through the use of Fishbone diagram
The study was composed of four modules. The Lecture Module provides lectures and information in livestock production. The Exercise Module provides exercises to take by the students, it helps to practice their memoirs and knowledge about the lessons that they take. Glossary Module provides unfamiliar words with definitions that were used in the lectures. The Search Module is responsible to search the title of every lesson in livestock production.
The methodology used in the software development was the Prototyping Model which is composed Of the following phases: Initial Requirements, Design, Prototyping, Customer Evaluation, Review and Update.
The system was developed through the use of different applications: HTML, CSS,
Cordova, Ionic and Bootstrap with Android SDK installed as the integrated development development environment; Javascript as the scripting language; and Adobe Photoshop CC for the design and interface of the system.
The system go through several series of testing and software evaluation by using indicators that is graded from I to 5, 5 as excellent, 4 as very good, 3 as good, 2 as fair and 1 as poor. It was concluded that the system passed the criteria and met the expected output.
