An entrepreneurial development project entitled Production of Pak choi, Lettuce and Baguio beans was conducted in Lumil Silang, Cavite from January 2017 to May 2017. The project aimed to improve the student actual skills in planning, implementation, marketing and actual farm practices in producing Pak choi, Lettuce and Baguio beans. In addition, it sought to demonstrate profitability of growing Pak choi, Lettuce and Baguio beans.

Seed of Pak choi (Green Shinkang), Lettuce (Green Wave, Curly Green) were sown in a seedtray with pure vermicast as growing medium. Seeds of Baguio Beans (Sagana) were planted directly to the soil with basal vermicast application. Pak Choi and Lettuce are Transplanted 15 days after sowing. Pak choi is harvested 21 days after transplanting and Lettuce are 21 to 28 days after transplanting. Baguio beans pod can be harvested 12-15 days after flowering or 48 days after planting.

A total of 72 kg of pak choi was harvested and sold at Php 50/kg, and 48 kg of lettuce at P100/kg and 75 kg of baguio beans at Php 50/kg in farmgate price and delivered to vegetable store and direct buyers in Lumil, Silang, Cavite.

The projects total gross income was Php 12,150.00 and after deducting to total cost of production Php 9, 673.60 a net income Php 2, 476.40 was obtained. Return of Investment of 25.59 percent was obtained.
