The study was conducted from May 2017 in Cavite State University, Indang Cavite at Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Cainta Rizal. The study described the demographic characteristics of disable individual in TWH. Determined the significant effect of dance in four domains; physical, emotional, social, and mental health.
The descriptive research design was used to obtain information concerning the current status to describe what exists. In population and sampling, quota sampling technique was used to determine the sample size and provided survey questionnaire as the research instrument.
The respondents were 30-38 years old and most of them were female. Most of them have a lower limb amputation but still choose dance to be part of their lives. Cultural Dance was the most genre of dance they used to do based on the result of the research.
The research showed that socially, the effect of dance to the differently able individuals in Tahanang Walang Hagdanan was highly positive. Otherwise, it has a physical, emotional and mental positive health effect.
