The purpose of this study is to determine the level of knowledge, and attitude of selected students of Cavite State University towards Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health for the students of Cavite State University. Specifically it aimed to: determine the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants; determine the level of knowledge of the participants on Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health, describe the attitude of the participants toward Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health; determine if there is a significant difference between male and female participants’ level of knowledge on Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health; and determine if there is a significant difference between male and female participants’ direction of attitude towards Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health.

This study used the descriptive type of research with a questionnaire as the main instrument in gathering data. The participants of the study were 300 students from Cavite State University Don Severino delas Alas Campus in Indang, Imus, Silang Campus.

Majority of the participants both male (90%) and female (93%) belonged to age ranging from 18 to 21 years old, single (99%) and belonged to Roman Catholic (79%)

The study also revealed that the participants had a “knowledgeable” level of knowledge for both male and female. While in participants attitude, male had a favorable” and female had a “highly favorable” attitude on Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health.

Result shows that participants’ socio-demographic characteristics are not significantly related to their level of knowledge and attitude on responsible parenthood and reproductive health.

The study also revealed that the participant’s socio-demographic characteristic are not statistically related to their level of knowledge and attitude on responsible parenthood and reproductive health.
