The study was conducted to determine the profitability and working capital management practices of motorcycle dealers in selected municipalities of Cavite. It aimed to determine the following: (1) business characteristics of different motor cycle dealers in terms of Corm of ownership, size of the business in terms of floor area, number of employees, years in operations, nature of capitalization, and number of stocks in inventory: (2) level of implementation of working capital management practices of motorcycle dealers in terms of cash management, inventory management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable management; (3) profitability of operating a motorcycle dealer business; (4) relationship between the business characteristics of motorcycle dealers and profitability; (5) relationship between the profitability and the level of implementation of working capital management practices; and, (6) most common problems encountered related to working capital management practices of motorcycle dealers.

Mean, frequency counts, and percentage distribution will he used to interpret the business characteristics, working capital management practices, problems encountered related to working capital management and profitability. The five point Likert Scale was used to measure the level of implementation of working capital management practices. In determining the relationship between business characteristics and profitability, point biserial and product moment correlation were used. On the other hand, Spearman rank correlation was used in determining the relationship between working capital management practices and profitability.
The study revealed that some business characteristics such as size of the business in terms of floor area, number of employees, years in operation, nature of capitalization and number of stocks in inventory have significant negative relationship and may affect the profitability of motorcycle dealers, except in form of ownership wherein the results revealed that there is no significant relationship to profitability.
Moreover, the study found out that the level of implementation of working capital management practices in terms managing cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory management have no significant relationship to profitability.
