The project, "Re-establishment of Nursery Project in Lumipa" as an income-generating project was conducted from September 1981 to February 1982. The re-establishment of the project aimed to develop a give-and-take relationship between the trainee and the farmers about their techniques and practices in growing the crops. A survey was made on the field of different farmers in the barrio. From September 18 to October 26, re-establishment of nursery was made. We did fence, clearing the land, constructed partial shade and preparation of soil media for germinating seeds. First week of November, coffee seedlings were planted.
On the second week of November, preparation of seedbed was done for calamansi seeds. Seed germination took place two weeks after planting and transplanted to the plastic bag. We had also papaya seeds and mango and santol seedlings. After planting we watered daily to provide moisture for germination of seeds and for the growth and development of seedlings. Weeding and cultivation was done to facilitate good aeration and to avoid competition for the nutrients needed by the plants.

First application of fertilizer (14-14-14) was done two weeks after transplanting all the seedlings and the second application was done when the seedlings reached a height of fifteen to sixteen centimeters. This fertilizer was applied to promote vegetative growth and development of the seedlings. The last activity done was grafting of mango seedlings and budding of santol seedlings.
