MERCADO, LLIANA KICHI O., AARON MARK. V., and VIANA, GEORGINA ANNE M. Effects Of Bio-Organic Fertilizer From Banana Peeling Of Different Banana Varieties On The Growth Performance Of Tomato (Solanum Lycopersicum) Variety ‘Diamante'. Research study (General Science Curriculum) Science High School, College of Education, Cavite State University) Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Mr Edgardo Gonzales. The study entitled "Effects of Bio-organic Fertilizer from Banana Peeling of Different Banana Varieties on the Growth Performance of Tomato (Solanum I tivopersicum) Variety Diamante" was conducted for the purpose of minimizing the waste of banana peelings in the environment that would help farmers in promoting natural fanning. It determined the growth performance of tomato using the bio-organic fertilizer made from banana peelings of different banana varieties. Four treatments namely: To, Ti, T2 and Ti To was the control group or no fertilizer; Ti was the fermented Cardava banana peelings; T2 was fermented Latundan banana peelings; and T3 was fermented Lakatan banana peelings. The four treatments were tested for two months and evaluated according to the plant's number of leaves, height and diameter of the stem. The results of the study showed that fermented. Latundan banana peelings had the best effects in terms on the number of leaves and diameter of the stern; and the fermented Lakatan banana peelings had the least favorable effects in terms on the number of leaves and diameter of the stem
