Dilidili.<br/>The study was conducted at the School of Engineering, and at the Central Laboratory, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite.<br/>The main objective of the study was to develop and test a three—stage process on the essential oil recovery and to recommend the process design of a multi—stage distillation essential oil extractor.<br/>Result showed that the three—stage distillation process improved the recovery of essential oil. The process yields higher efficiency of 84.2%, 76.3% and 79.3%, for the materials lemongrass, ginger rhizome, and eucalyptus leaves , respectively.<br/>The average efficiency of 79.3% is better than the average extraction efficiency ranging from 70—75% (DOST, 1990) Obtained from the distillation technology with cohobation.<br/>
