The ladder is among the equipment that helps to carry out different work process in ease manner at various industrial and residential areas. This study focused on the design and fabrication of multiple purpose ladder that suit for household activities. Information and anthropometric data were collected from 100 household ladder users consisting of 49 females and 51 males. The result of the interview revealed that 4% of the respondents consider cost in selecting a ladder, 15% consider durability in selecting a ladder, 16% consider ergonomics for comfort and ease of use in selecting a ladder, 19% consider function in selecting a ladder, 27% consider maneuverability in selecting a ladder, and 19% consider safety in selecting a ladder. Through the use of the data collected and by benchmarking on the design of ladder existing in the market a design of ladder was created that will not only perform the basic functions but can also be used for material handling purposes. Two customize rung was added, one with metal structure for clothes rack and rung with leveler for setting up the ladder in proper angle. Wheels are also added for easy transport of the ladder from one place to another. The result of evaluation shows that the design of ladder made was very good in terms of durability, ergonomics, function, maneuverability, and safety.
