The study was planned and prepared from August to November 2016. The design and development of the application was conducted from August 2016 to March 2017 in Trece Martires City and Indang, Cavite.
The main objective of this study was to introduce a new way and automated way of evaluation through mobile phone. This study would help to improve the current way of evaluation of the faculty members of the College of Engineering and Information Technology.
The researchers used the Feature Driven Development methodology for the implementation of the application. Using a descriptive and correlational evaluation, the design and data were collected from 98 students from Cavite State University and 10 IT experts from Cavite State University - Main Campus.
The study entitled "A Mobile-based Student Evaluation for the Faculty of CvSU-CEIT" passed the variety of testing including unit test, integration test, and system evaluation. In the evaluation, the system got an overall mean of 4.67. Based on the result, the system was evaluated as excellent in all the identified criteria.
Hence, there is a need to further improve the application. Based on these key findings, it is recommended that future researchers may try to develop in iOS platform and to add quick response (QR) code for security purposes of the study.
